Grow a Garden Fall Bloom Guide (September 2025)

The magical fairy season has ended, and now Grow a Garden has stepped into autumn with the brand-new Fall Market update.

Alongside new pets, seeds, gear, and cosmetics, the key feature you’ll need to know about is the Fall Bloom.

This event doesn’t just restock shops – it also gives you crop mutations and random Fall rewards. Here’s everything you need to know to activate and benefit from Fall Bloom.

What Is Fall Bloom in Grow a Garden?

Fall Bloom is a seasonal progression event that activates after players collectively submit 500 points worth of plants at the Fall Tree NPC.

Once the Fall Bloom is complete:

  • Fall Market shops (Pets, Seeds, Gear, Cosmetics) either unlock or restock.

  • Contributors get a chance at crop mutations (special Fall variants).

  • Players also receive free random Fall rewards like crates and eggs.

Unlike some other events, Fall Bloom doesn’t trigger a separate weather event. Instead, it works more like the old Beanstalk event – feeding plants into the tree NPC to unlock progression.

How to Activate Fall Bloom

1. Gather the Required Plant Type

The Fall Tree NPC will ask for specific plant types. You’ll see a white bubble above it showing the current requirement. Some of the most common plant categories include:

  • Berry plants
  • Fruit plants
  • Flower plants
  • Leafy plants
  • Sweet plants
  • Tropical plants
  • Vegetable plants
  • Prickly plants
  • Woody plants
  • Stalky plants

2. Submit Plants to the Fall Tree

  • Equip the required plant from your inventory.

  • Walk up to the Fall Tree NPC and press E.

  • Choose “Feed this to the Harvest Spirit” for a single submission or “Feed all my plants to the Harvest Spirit” to hand over everything of that type.

Each submission gives you points toward the Fall Bloom.

Fall Bloom Points System

You’ll need 500 points total across all players in the lobby to trigger the Bloom. Points are based on rarity:

Plant Rarity Points
Common 1
Uncommon 2
Rare 3
Legendary 4
Mythical 5
Divine 6
Prismatic 7
Transcendent 8

Even if you only submit one plant, your contribution counts toward unlocking or restocking the shops.

Cooldown Explained

After a Fall Bloom has been completed, the event enters a cooldown phase.

During this period, you cannot feed plants to the Fall Tree. Once the cooldown ends, submissions reopen and players can start progressing toward the next Bloom.

Why You Should Run Fall Bloom

There are plenty of reasons to stay active during this event:

  • Restock the Fall Shops – Buy out an item? Triggering Fall Bloom refreshes stock.

  • Unlock event items – Pets, seeds, gear, and cosmetics exclusive to Fall.

  • Mutations – Your crops may transform into special Fall variants, raising their value.

  • Free rewards – Fall Crates, Fall Eggs, and even rare shop items can drop from the NPC.

The more you contribute, the better your personal rewards.
