Plants vs Brainrots Prison Event Guide: How to Unlock, Capture, & Win All Rewards

The Brainrot Prison Event has arrived in Plants vs Brainrots, and it’s one of the most exciting limited-time events yet.

This update brings a full-on prison island, a list of wanted brainrots to capture, exclusive rewards, and some strategic hunting.

If you want to unlock everything before the timer runs out, you’ll need to know exactly how this event works from start to finish.

This guide covers everything you need to complete the Prison Event, including how to unlock the area, catch the required brainrots, track your progress, and claim the grand prizes.

What is the Brainrot Prison Event in Plants vs Brainrots?

The Brainrot Prison Event revolves around capturing specific brainrots and locking them up in the prison for rewards.

The Warden NPC gives you a list of targets through the Wanted Board. Each time you catch and jail one of these brainrots, you earn exclusive rewards.

As you progress, the board updates automatically to show your next target, so there’s always a clear goal.

Beyond the rewards, this event brings a completely new island to the game, along with themed cosmetics, exclusive seeds, and limited-time items that you can’t get anywhere else.

Step 1: Unlock the Prison Area

Before you can start hunting, you’ll need to purchase access to the Central Island, which unlocks the prison zone.

  • Cost: 1 million in-game currency

  • Location: Transparent door on the left side of your garden

If you’re short on funds, focus on equipping your strongest plants and brainrots to speed up your income.

Once you have the money, buy the Central Island to open the teleportation door.

Walking through it will instantly teleport you to the Prison Island, where the Warden and event boards are waiting.

Step 2: Meet the Warden and Check the Boards

Once on Prison Island, head toward the Warden NPC.

He’s the central figure for this event and provides all the mission details.

  • Wanted Board (Right side):
This shows which brainrot you need to capture next. It updates after each successful jail. Keep checking this board regularly, because the targets appear one at a time, not all at once.

  • Prison Info Board (Above Jail):
Displays your event progress, time remaining, and final reward milestones. This is your tracker to know how far you are from completion.

Step 3: Hunt and Capture Target Brainrots

Once you know which brainrot is on the Wanted Board, head back to your garden belt.

All target brainrots spawn there like regular ones.

Here’s how to catch them:

  1. Watch the belt for the target brainrot to spawn.
  2. Defeat it using your plants as usual.
  3. Equip it to your inventory once it’s defeated.
  4. Return to Prison Island and submit it to the Warden.

Once submitted, it will be locked in the prison and counted toward your progress. The board will then update to reveal the next target brainrot.

Tip: You don’t need any special tools to capture these targets. However, having strong DPS plants and frost gear can speed up rare brainrot battles.

Step 4: Track Your Progress and Claim Rewards

Every time you capture and jail a target brainrot, you’ll receive incremental rewards such as:

  • Coins
  • Gears
  • Seeds
  • Event items

Once you reach 100% completion, you’ll unlock three grand prizes:

  • Copuccino Seed – A powerful event-exclusive seed

  • Wardenelli Brickatoni Brainrot – A unique brainrot that fits the prison theme

  • Riot Potion – A special consumable for future battles

The event timer is displayed on the board, so make sure to pace your hunting sessions to complete it before the Prison Event ends on October 11.

Pro Tips to Finish Faster

  • Check the Wanted Board often: New targets are assigned immediately after submission. No downtime.

  • Use AFK methods: If you’re farming other brainrots, keep an eye on the belt for event targets spawning.

  • Stock Frost Gear: Frost Grenades and Blowers help freeze high-HP targets to avoid escapes.

  • Join during Admin Abuse sessions: These often spawn rare event brainrots in higher frequency, speeding up your progress.

Why You Should Complete the Prison Event

The Brainrot Prison Event isn’t just for fun. It’s one of the best limited-time opportunities to:

Earn exclusive rewards not obtainable elsewhere.

Add Wardenelli Brickatoni, one of the rarest event brainrots, to your collection.

Boost your garden’s power with Copuccino Seeds.

Flex your event completion badge to other players.

Given its limited window and unique structure, this is one event you shouldn’t skip.
