How To Get Anomalous Log in Fisch

Fisch has always been one of Roblox’s most fun and adventurous games. And recent updates have proven that fact to be true. 

One of such updates added a whole new lore to our beloved Wizard Merlin. We got a new story line, a new series of Quests, and a lot of rewards.

But the finishing touches came after completing Merlin’s first quests. And now we have a stronger wizard who is capable of so many new things.

However, to gain access to some of his upgrades, you need a new item, the Anomalous Log. This item is exceptionally useful and here’s why.

What is the Anomalous Log

The Anomalous Log is a mutated form of the regular logs in Fisch. This item’s mutation also has an active ability which grants you 2.5x value multiplier.

But the main purpose of this mutated log is to craft certain items in the game. So unfortunately, the time has come for you to start fishing for such a useless tier item (Logs).

Now if you want to mutate a log to its Anomalous version, your rod needs to have the Anomalous enchantment. And to get this Enchantment, you’ll need an Exalted Relic.

You can get this Relic by completing the Keeper’s Secret Quest, fishing (the depths), or the Merchant near Moosewood. 

Once you have that sorted out, it’s now time to branch out and get this mutation.

How to Get the Anomalous Log

Now to get the Anomalous Log, you need to fish for a regular log.

Naturally, you can get logs from any location if you are lucky or patient enough. But the locations on this list have the best drop rate for logs:

• Ancient Isle (Waterfall)
• Terrapin Island (Olm Cave)
• Desolate Pocket (underwater)
• Musgrove
• Roslit Bay (Coral Reef)
• Roslit Bay (Clam Abundance)
• Ancient Isle

Before you go fishing for logs however, you do need to follow certain requirements first. These requirements aren’t necessary, but it’s just best to follow them for a higher success rate.

• You first need to use a low tier fishing rod (Rod with low luck). And that is because a high tier rod is going to reduce your chances of catching a low-tier item like the log.

• Next you also need to use a very low tier bait or starter bait if possible. You need to have your luck as low as possible.
• Now, you need to enchant your rod with the Anomalous Enchantment. Doing this will give your catch a 20% of getting the Anomalous Mutation.
• To get the Anomalous Enchantment, you need to use an Exalted Enchantment on your Rod.
• Once you have done that, it is now time to start fishing.

If you follow this guide to the T, then you probably won’t have to fish for long before getting the log.

Once you do get the Anomalous Log, bring it back to Merlin and it will serve as a crafting component. In fact, it is one of the key requirements needed to craft Merlin’s Staff Rod, one of FIsch’s latest additions.

In Conclusion

The Anomalous Log does require you to do a lot of things you otherwise wouldn’t do on a normal day. I mean the point of leveling up is so we don’t have to deal with these low tier items anymore.

But I guess in a way, it can act as a means to remind us of our humble beginnings. So I guess it’s not all bad. But what do you think?
