How to Get Christmas Tree Rod in Fisch

The Holidays are finally here and what joy it must be to witness yet another festive Fischmas season in Roblox. Of course it is the season of giving and the Devs in Fisch are always in a giving spirit each year.

We got a ton of free stuff in this Advent Fischmas Event, and there’s even more free gifts in the next update.

But right now, we have to take a look at one of the main highlights of this event, the Christmas Tree Rod.

Christmas Tree Rod (How to Get it)

Now the Christmas tree Rod is an excellent early to mid game rod with good stats, and a decent passive. And because it is part of the advent calendar, this Rod is also a free goodie for everyone.

Normally, most free Rods in Fisch would require you to be at a certain level or do a quest, but not this one. All you have to do to get this rod is follow these steps:

• Go to Moosewood (if you aren’t already there)
• Close to the docks, locate the Advent Event Elves

• Now start a conversation with the Elf in the middle
• Out of the 3 options that show up, select “Show me the Advent Calendar”

• Once he shows you the calendar, you’ll see the Christmas Tree Rod on Day 5 ready to claim
• Now simply click on claim, and the rod is yours

Just a quick heads up, as at this moment, the game has already gone past the 5th day.

So if you are like me and you didn’t log in on the 5th day to claim it, then unfortunately, you have missed out on a free chance to claim it.

Mind you, the keyword there is “Free Chance”, which means you can still claim it regardless by using Robux. But before you do that, let’s find out if the rod is actually worth the trouble.

Christmas Tree Rod Stats and Ability

As I said earlier, this rod is a great early to mid game rod. Which means the stats are anywhere between good and decent.

Here are the stats for the Christmas Tree Rod.

While it may not have the best stats, this rod certainly makes up for it in its ability. Which basically gives you a 25% chance to apply the Merry Mutation to fishes caught.

This Merry Mutation multiplies your fish’s sell value by 5x. And this will be an incredibly good way to farm gold in the early stages of the game.

So basically, without this passive, this rod in all honesty is D tier at best, at least in our list. But even the worst Rod can be decent with the right enchant, so here’s our take.

Best Enchantment for the Christmas Tree Rod

Now let’s take a look at the best ways to improve this Rod. Bear in mind, whatever enchantment you are going for should focus more on improving the stats of the rod.

So anything that Ups Luck, Lure and Progression is welcome. Here are my top takes for the best enchantment with this Rod:

• Divine – +50% Luck, +20% Resilience, and +25% Lure Speed
• Hasty – +55% Lure Speed (If you want to get these fishes quickly)
• Breezed –  +50% Luck, +10% Progress Speed, and +10% Lure Speed (2x the stats during Windy)
• Mythical – +25% Luck, +45% Resilience, +15% Lure Speed, and+10% Progress Speed
• Lucky – +25% Luck, +15% Lure Speed, and +50% chance for Mutation

Using these Enchantments, you can transform this rod to a gold farming machine. At least until you can get something a lot better.

Final Thoughts

With that said, the Christmas Tree Rod is certainly a worthwhile choice, especially since it was free. But is it worth getting with actual Robux? Well I will let you decide.
