Inspired by the viral “Anomaly” subgenre (like Scary Shawarma Kiosk and Observation Duty), the game tasks players with working the night shift at a roadside Indonesian noodle stall.

You must serve customers while navigating supernatural events and identifying “anomalies” that threaten your sanity and life.

Players take the role of a night-shift worker at a Warung Bakso (meatball noodle stall) in Malang, Indonesia.

The primary objective is to survive until 6:00 AM by serving correct orders and correctly identifying whether a customer is human or a supernatural entity.

 

Basic Mechanics

  • Cooking: You must prepare bowls of Bakso noodles by following the specific orders of customers who walk up to your stall.

  • Identification: Before serving, you must determine if the customer is “Normal” or an “Anomaly.”

  • The Shutter: If a customer is dangerous or an anomaly is detected, you must close your shop shutter immediately to protect yourself.

  • The Third Eye (Q Key): A special ability that allows you to see things not visible to the naked eye. However, using it for too long will drain your sanity or invite unwanted attention.

Bakso Malang Anomalies : Anomalies and Encounters

The game features over 40 unique encounters. These are generally categorized into three types:

  1. Human/Normal Customers: These individuals look and behave normally. They must be served promptly to avoid an “Error” or an early visit from the Inspector.

  2. Safe/Special Anomalies: Strange entities that are not necessarily hostile but require specific actions. For example, some may need to be served normally despite their appearance, while others require you to wait for them to leave.

  3. Dangerous Anomalies: Hostile entities that will kill you or cause a “Game Over” if served.

    • Visual Cues: Look for distorted limbs, missing faces, glowing eyes, or black marks on the skin.

    • The CCTV Test: Always check your security cameras. Some anomalies only reveal their true form on the monitor or when Night Vision is toggled.

    • The Third Eye Test: Some anomalies look human on camera but reveal horrific features when viewed with your Third Eye.

The Rules for Survival

The game emphasizes that the rules posted in your stall are not superstitions—they are mandatory for survival.

  • Rule 1: Trust the Cameras. Always check the CCTV before opening the shutter or handing over food.

  • Rule 2: Monitor Your Sanity. Do not keep the Third Eye active for extended periods.

  • Rule 3: The Inspector. Around 2:00 AM, an empty car will pull up. This is The Inspector. You must:

    • Stop all work immediately.

    • Exit through the back door.

    • Stand outside and do not look back at the stall until the inspection is over. Looking at the Inspector or the stall during this time results in an instant death.

  • Rule 4: Manage Errors. Making too many mistakes (serving the wrong order or serving a dangerous anomaly) will trigger an early, more aggressive inspection.

Bakso Malang Anomalies Endings

There are currently 7 main endings and 2 secret endings.

  • Survival Ending: Successfully complete the night shift without too many errors and survive the Inspector.

  • Death Endings: Triggered by serving the wrong entity, failing the inspection, or staying outside too long.

  • Secret Endings: Usually achieved by interacting with specific environmental items (like the fridge or hidden notes) or failing specific rules in a precise way.
