If you’re playing Steal a Brainrot, traits and mutations are some of the biggest factors that determine how much money your Brainrots can make per second.
When combined the right way, they can skyrocket your earnings, especially when stacked on high-value Brainrots.

How Traits & Mutations Work Together
In Steal a Brainrot, you can equip exactly one mutation and one trait on a single Brainrot. The multipliers from each multiply together, not add, so the boost is much larger than just combining the numbers.
For example:
-
Lava mutation (6×) + Firework trait (6×) = 36× total multiplier
-
Rainbow mutation (10×) + Nyan Cat trait (6×) = 60× total multiplier
That means if your Brainrot normally earns 100 money/sec, the Rainbow + Nyan Cat combo would increase it to 6,000 money/sec.
If you want to try traits and mutations instantly, our All Admin Commands in Steal a Brainrot (2025) guide shows every command available, including ones that can spawn these effects for testing.

How to Calculate the Boost
Money per second = (Base money/sec) × (Mutation multiplier) × (Trait multiplier)
Example:
If a Brainrot earns 100 money/sec and has a Lava mutation (6×) plus a Bombardiro trait (4×): 100 × 6 × 4 = 2,400 money/sec
