How to get Fishing Rods in Blox Fruits

Similar to the real world, to catch the fish you will need a fishing rod and a bait. So, the first part of the guide is all about how you can equip these two items.

Before we start, if you do not have a fishing rod, you can the basic rod for free. To obtain the free rod just find the Fisherman NPC and interact with them to receive the basic rod for free. The Fisherman NPC can be found in all three seas – Frozen Village (First Sea), Kingdom of Rose (Second Sea), Port Town (Third Sea).

The other way to obtain special Fishing Rods is from Angler NPC. He can be located in all three seas – Skylands (First Sea), Green Zone (Second Sea), Hydra Island (Third Sea)

If you can, try to go fishing with special rods like Golden Rod or Shark Rod. Special rods increases your probability of getting the Golden Carp. But, it’s totally fine if you are using a free basic rod, but it might take some more time to get the desired outcome.

But, the key is to keep trying.

How to Catch Golden Carp in Blox Fruits

Once you are ready with the fishing rod and bait, it’s time to try to fish the prize. Don’t worry if you do not have any advance rod, Golden Carp doesn’t require special conditions, it won’t be hard to catch it.

Follow the step guide below –

  • Step 1: Equip the fishing rod from your backpack. Choose anyone available.
  • Step 2: One equipped with the fishing rod, cast you line in the sea and start fishing. Don’t forget to get the Perfect Throw.
  • Step 3: Now, you just need to wait till a red exclamation mark appear on the screen. Click the right mouse button once you get it.
  • Step 4: In the reeling minigame, you will have to keep the fish icon inside the moving rectangle.
Catch 3 Golden Carp and proceed with the next step.

Submit & Get Fishing Tournament Rewards

Once you catch all the fishes, you will need to submit your best 3 Golden Carps to the NPC. To submit join the Fishing Tournament first and interact with the NPC to get rewards for the fish you caught.

The rewards are based on the average weight of your top three Golden Carps

The Top 1,000 players will get Fruit Boxes and a special trophy.
