Robux is the globally accepted in-game currency for every game in the Roblox platform. You can use it to buy anything from cosmetics, to game passes, and even certain in-game items.

But unlike actual money which you can just give to anyone at any time, you can only give Robux through specific means. And of course since it is the season of giving/gifting, now is a good time to know these methods.

So in this article, I will be guiding you through the various ways to gift your friends Robux. And this guide covers both PC and Mobile users, so don’t worry I got you covered.

Now without much delay, let’s start with the PC users.

1. Using a Roblox Gift Cards

Gift cards are perhaps the most efficient way of sending money/tokens in our modern day society. And that fact is no different in Roblox either.

There are two official ways to send gift cards in Roblox.

Method 1 (Roblox Gift Card Sharing)

Roblox of course does have its own Gift card sharing function and it is made through its partnership with Cashstar. To use this method, simply follow these steps:

• Open the Roblox app, and Select More
• Now in the more page, scroll down and select Gift Cards.

• You will be redirected to the Roblox gift card webpage.

• In  this page, click on Shop Gift Cards, and you will be directed to the gift card page
• Now the first, and important thing is to choose if you want a digital or physical gift card

• After making your choice, pick an amount
• Next select who it is for, in this case it will be for a friend
• Fill in your friend’s details, and click add to cart.
• You will then be redirected to the Cashstar platform, where you will finalize the transaction.

I would like to point out that Cashstar as an app doesn’t have the best online reputation.

In fact, a lot of users have complained about the platform on reddit, and its Trustpilot score is horrendous.

So try to exercise caution when using this method.

Method 2 (Amazon Purchase)

If you want the extra safety, but don’t want the stress of going to a local store for a physical gift card, just use Amazon. You can also just click on the Official store button, and you will be redirected to Roblox’s official amazon Page.

Simply follow these steps:

• First, log into your amazon account (Or do so without an account)

• Next, search for Roblox Gift Cards, and choose a vendor to buy from
• Most Vendors have every amount available for Roblox gift cards
• Select an amount you’d like to buy and Add to cart
• Complete the transaction, and make payments.

Now if it is digital, you will receive the Gift Card code in the email address of your amazon account. While for the physical gift card, it will be delivered to your delivery address.

All you need to do now is either send the Gift card or the code to your friend.

Now after completing either of these methods, your friend can Redeem the Gift card by:

• Open the Roblox App
• Click on More and select gift cards
• They will then be redirected to the Roblox Gift Card webpage

2. Using a Roblox Game Pass

This is perhaps one of the easiest ways to give your friends Robux. The logic behind this is, your friend creates a game pass, and you buy it for the amount of Robux.

To do this, follow these steps:

• First, your friend needs to create a pass
• Next, they should put it up for sale at whatever Robux amount you want to send
• Once that is done, go to the creator’s experience page
• Click on Store
• Now search for the pass you want to buy, in this case, it’s your friend’s pass
• Now buy the pass, and your friend will be given 70% of the Robux amount (Roblox takes 30%)

3. Using a Roblox Group Fund

This is yet another great way to gift your friend’s robux, simply follow these steps:

• First go to the Roblox group creation page.
• Now, fill in the required details.
• Next, choose between “Anyone can Join or Manual Approval” from the option given.
• Lastly, click the create the group button by paying 100 Robux

After greeting the group,

• Now add the friend(s) you want to gift Robux to the Group (They can search for the group name and click Join)
• Next you will need to create a game pass or an Avatar item. Doing this makes every Robux made from sales enter the Group funds
• With Robux in your group funds, you can create a one-time payout, enter your friend’s username, and choose an amount

Donation is very similar to the Game Pass method. But the difference is, your friend needs to have Roblox Premium.

To do this, you just need to follow these steps:

• Now select the More option on the bottom left of your screen
• Next select Communities
• Click on create Community
• Fill in your community details, and create it with 100 Robux
• You friends can then join the community by searching for it(depending on what function you set)
• Now to create a Game pass or item, you or a friend needs to have a PC, because the Creator app doesn’t work on mobile
• Once you have an item ready, the sales will add robux to your community funds.

When you do have community funds, you can send it to your friends in the community by:

• First select your community, the click the 3 dots
• Select the Configure community option

Unlike the PC users, you do not get the gift card option in the Mobile App. But you can still gift your friends by:

Using Browser to Send Gift Cards

To do this:

• Log into your Roblox Account from your browser
• Click on the top left bar menu

 

• Then Select Gift Card

This will redirect you to the same Gift Card page as the PC users. Now simply follow the same method as PC users to complete the process.

You can also access the official Roblox Amazon store from your Roblox account in your browser. Simply select the official store option in your menu, and follow the same steps as PC users.
