How to Complete Merlin’s Quest in Fisch

Fisch is an exciting Roblox game filled with quests, mysteries, and, of course, a lot of fishing. And after the recent Fisch Update, we’ve gotten even more Quests with exciting rewards.

Today, we are going to be taking a look at the Merlin Quest, which is a new questline that comes with the update. You’ll also find this quest very fun if you are a fan of parkour and puzzles.

In this article, we are going to be breaking down the quest, requirements, approach, and, of course, the rewards you get afterwards. But before we get started, let’s take a look at what the quest is all about.

What is Merlin’s Quest

Merlin’s Quest is set in the chill mountain top of Sunstone Island. You can find this Island just North-East of Moosewood, past the Haddock Rock or at exactly -943, 224, -988 coordinates (If you use a GPS).

When you do get to Sunstone, just locate Merlin’s Hut, by climbing the ladder to the top of the mountain, and Merlin’s Hut is on the left side of the ladder.

On reaching Merlin’s Hut, you’ll notice the hut is partly destroyed, with rubbles everywhere, and even Merlin’s Magic Orb is turned off. Now all you need to do to start the quest is talk to Merlin.

During the conversation, he will explain to you what happened, to his orb, why rifts are appearing all over Sunstone. And all you need to do is enter these rifts to get each shard for him.

Merlin’s Quest

After accepting the Quest, you need to find these rifts, which spawn occasionally around Sunstone Island. I have seen it mainly spawn in 3 places:

• The open space just facing Merlin’s hut
• An open space, just above Merlin’s Hut (to the right)
• Close to the Ladder

But overall, these rifts could spawn anywhere else. So keep an eye out for them.

Once you do find a rift, the first thing you should note is the color. And that is because the color of each rift represents the color of shard you’ll get.

So far, there is a total of 4 shards in the quest:

• Shard if Embers
• Shard of Nebulas
• Shard of Roots
• Shard of Tides

For Embers, the rift looks Red, Nebulas’ rift is purple, Shard of Roots is Greenish, and shard of Tides is a blue rift.

When you do find a rift, simply enter and you will be teleported to a new location for your trail. Now completing this trial might be tricky, so follow this guide for a useful tip.

How to Get Shards in Fisch

After entering a rift, you are instantly teleported to the shard’s location. But to get it, you will need to go through a series of Hardcore parkour by jumping on platforms, and trying not to fall.

Some of these platforms are tricky, and if you don’t navigate yourself properly, you might end up taking a dive. So I suggest carefully planning your movement before attempting to jump from any platform.

But try not to take too long in your planning, because you are only temporarily in this location. Meaning, you have to get the shard quickly, or be teleported back to Sunstone Island.

If you are teleported back to Sunstone, the rift will still be there, but you cannot immediately enter again. You can enter later on when another rift spawn (regardless of the color).

Bear in mind, the platforms in each rift are different from one another.

But there is an easier alternative that lets you skip a lot of the parkour in this quest. And to do this, you need to get a Glider.

Using a Glider, just cuts these trials in half, because all you need to do is:

• Locate a platform close to the shard
• Climb to a high enough platform (Or one of the Parkour Platform)
• Glide to the nearest platform closest to the shard
• Jump to the Shard’s platform and retrieve it

You do need to be careful though, because if you fall inside the colored water at the bottom, you will fail and be teleported back.

Now once you have retrieved all the shards (or any number of shards), you need to give it to Merlin and claim your reward.

Merlin’s Quest Rewards

To turn in these shards to Merlin, simply hold each shard in your hand, enter a conversation and select the option “I have a Shard for you”. Merlin will then thank you for it, and give you a reward.

Each Shard has its own reward:

• Nebulas = Gilded Staff Skin
• Tides = Enchanted Book Lantern
• Roots = Magic Ball Bobber
• Embers = Title (Magic Orb)
