How to Enter the Chasm and Reach Mineshaft in Fisch

So we got a new update in Roblox’s Fisch and besides the awesome added features, what really stood out was the new questline. This questline is a follow up from last week, and it is a focus on Merlin of course.

Basically, Merlin offers you a lot more now in terms of stronger buffs, and even Relics. But this new questline also introduced the Chasm and Mineshaft as well.

In this guide, I will be giving you a detailed breakdown of this plot in its entirety, and how to access these new locations. But before we do that, let’s take a look at what these locations even are.

What is the Chasm and Mineshaft

After completing Merlin’s first quest, he was able to fix his Orb, and now he is a lot stronger than before. So with this upgrade in his magic, Merlin can now open Rifts at will, which is how he opened the Chasm.

For starters, the Chasm is a new location which is basically a Rift/Entrance to enter the Mineshaft. While the Mineshaft is also a new location filled with unique items and an added feature.

You can also fish in the Mineshaft as well, thanks to the fishing pool very close to the rails. 

How to Enter the Chasm in Fisch

You first need to get to Sunstone Island, and talk to Merlin. And just before you reach the ladder, you should see a purplish rift if you look inside the ocean.

That Rift is the Chasm, but for now you cannot enter yet.

So to access it, you first need to have Merlin’s Veil, and to get it, you need to complete Merlin’s Quest. To complete this quest, you just have to retrieve all the elemental shards and give them to Merlin.

Once you have completed this Quest, you can now talk to Merlin, and you will see the dialog, “I Need to enter the Chasm”. After saying that, he will then give you Merlin’s Veil buff, which lets you enter the Chasm.

Now, just make a dive into the Ocean directly behind Merlin’s hut, and enter the Chasm from there. You can as well use a GPS with these coordinates -855.8, 125.2, -971.1 if you can’t find it.

Keep in mind that Merlin’s Veil buff only lasts for 5 minutes. So you have to find the Chasm before time runs out.

But if time does run out, you can get it from Merlin again after 30 minutes. You can also track the timer for Merlin’s Veil by the icon that appears above your XP level.

After entering the Chasm, you appear in the Mineshaft which is an underground layer in the sea.

Once you are in the Mineshaft, you don’t have to worry about Merlin’s Veil timer anymore. You can stay here for as long as you want.

But if you do enter and you have issues seeing anything, don’t worry it’s a lighting bug. You can fix this by quickly exiting and re-entering the Mineshaft before Merlin’s Veil runs out of time.

Remember, there is a lot you can do in the Mineshaft, from unique fishes, to retrieving other necessary items for Merlin.

So take your time here, and make sure you don’t leave any stone unturned.
