How to Get Dusky Thread in Fisch

Fisch has its fair share of secrets and hidden mechanics; it has been so for a while. And that’s what makes it one of Roblox’s most exciting games.

Sometimes, you never can tell what to expect from a new update. And even old updates have some unexplored hidden factors in them.

Today, we are going to be taking a look at one of such secrets hidden in Fisch. We are also going to check out the community’s approach to it and the results so far.

So without further delay, let’s get started.

History of the Secret Astraeus Serenade

During Merlin’s update some weeks back, we got a huge buff on our favorite wizard. Mind you, this was a two part update.

For the first update, we got a new quest filled with a bunch of cool rewards. While for the second update, we also got a new quest with even better rewards, and a new Rod.

But after achieving these things, we all felt the entire questline was done and dusted. So imagine our surprise a few weeks later when a Dev points out we all missed a hidden secret.

Now on paper, there is no way anyone would know about this, especially since we didn’t have much to go off. But we now have an idea on how to approach it.

So basically, the whole secret is called the Astraeus Serenade. And our belief is it is a new Rod since it has ties to the Polaris Serenade (in a sense).

In actuality, part 1 of this Questline requires you catch 3 specific fishes all of which have specific mutations. Once you do get these fishes, just give them to Merlin and he will have something for you.

How to Get the Dusky Thread

Now this is the first piece of the puzzle needed to get started in this questline.

To get the Dusky Thread, you’ll need to fish for 3 Radiant Crystals from the Mineshaft. And these Radiant Crystals all have very rare mutations.

For an extra reference to that, you’ll need to have 3 rare rods in order to get these specific mutations.

Breeze Radiant Crystal

To get the Breezed Radiant Crystal, you’ll need to fish in the Mineshaft using the Elemental Rod. So unless you already have this Rod, it is practically not possible to get this mutation.

Serene Radiant Crystal

Now to get the Serene Radiant Crystal, you need to fish in the Mineshaft with either the Polaris Serenade or Duskwire.

I would suggest using the Polaris Serenade if you have it for a higher chance. But if you do not have this Rod, then just add the Mutated enchant to the Duskwire and go with it.

Celestial Radiant Crystal

To get this Radiant Crystal, you can either fish for it with the Celestial Rod, or during the Heavenly Sparkling Admin event.

Crafting the Dusky Thread

Once you have all 3 of these Radiant Crystals, first of all hats off to you. And second, all you need to do is go back to Merlin and talk to him.

You will then see a new dialogue which says “I noticed you have the stuff needed to make something secret”. All you have to do is select Craft, and you’ll receive the Dusky Thread.

Bear in mind, this is the first piece needed to complete the Astraeus Serenade.

For now, we do not have info yet on the remaining pieces. But once we do, I will certainly get you up to speed.
