Plants vs Brainrots is one of Roblox’s most fascinating games for a lot of reasons. And one of the most important reasons is the uniqueness it brings to brainrot mutations.
Let’s face it, we all want to have the best-looking garden in whatever server we enter. But to achieve this feat, you need a combination of both rare plants and brainrots.
Although getting these rare combos requires a lot of luck and grinding. And that is because every single mutation in the game doesn’t just occur at random (at least for most of them).
So how exactly can you be certain you will even see any of these rare mutations to begin with? Well, you’ll have to rely on Weather and Admin Events.
In this Article, I will be giving you everything you need to know about these events and the mutations you get from each weather. So with that said, let’s get started.
What are Weather Events
Weather Events are conditions that temporarily affect or impact the state of your garden and brainrots produced. It basically changes the mutation of incoming brainrots to match the theme it represents.
Once a weather event is active, you can expect the periodic spawning of brainrots unique to the weather. And some of this weather also affects your plants as well.
You can also activate these weather conditions by yourself if you have the potion needed to trigger it. So in the actual sense, you don’t have to rely on luck to trigger these weather effects, when you can make them yourself.
Now that you know what weather events are all about, let’s take a look at the various weathers currently in the game.
Types of Weather Events
There are two types of weather events in the game, and they are:
Standard Weather
These are the regular weathers which sometimes occur naturally, or can be triggered by players.
| Weather | Effects |
| Riot Potion | Brainrots Spawn Non-stop and they Spawn in Greater Numbers |
| Glided Awakening | Higher Chance to Get the Gold Mutation |
| Icy Blizzard | Higher Chance to Get the Frozen Mutation |
| Damage Potion | Grants a temporary Damage Boost to your plants |
| Lucky Potion | Grants a temporary Luck Boost |
| Server luck | Grants a temporary Server luck Boost |
| Speed Potion | Temporarily Speeds up both Brainrots and their Spawn rate |
| Stormy | Gives you a chance to grow an Electrified Plant |
| Merge Madness | Temporarily Speeds up your Fusion Machine, Merge Machine, and Plant Extractor |
Admin Weather
These weathers can only be activated by admins, during an Admin Abuse. And they spawn the rarest mutations in the game.
| Weather | Effects |
| Eruption | Higher Chance to apply the Magma Mutation to Brainrots |
| Cosmic Bloom | Higher Chance to apply the Galactic Mutation to Brainrots |
| Tung Tung Invasion | Spawns the Tung Tung Sahur Boss |
| Prismatic Surge | Higher Chance to apply the Rainbow mutation to Brainrots |
| Underworld Rift | Higher Chance to apply the Underworld Mutation to brainrots |
| Reality Flip | Higher Chance to apply the Upside Down Mutation to Brainrots |
| Halloween | Grants you a higher chance to spawn brainrots with any of the 3 spooky mutations |
Now that you know the basics of these weathers, I will guide you on what to expect from them whenever they are triggered. And how to get the best from these weather conditions.
Plants vs Brainrots Weather Events Guide
So, here is a detailed guide on all the weather events, their effects, and how to get the best from it.
1. Riot Potion

This is one of the most useful weather effects in the game, because it basically speed runs your odds for you. So you save time by reaching the rare mutations faster
What this means is, if you were to get a rare mutation after 100 brainrots which could take about 5 to 10 minutes to reach. With riot weather, you can reach it in 3 minutes or less.
You can stack up on these potions by completing in-game Events. But make sure to always use them during an admin abuse because they increase your chance at a lot of rare brainrots.
2. Damage Potion
This weather basically increases the damage output of your plants by about 50%. You can use this weather effect if your plants are fairly weak, or during a boss or very powerful admin brainrot.
3. Server luck

Naturally, this is a passive weather effect, and everyone on the server experiences the same additional boost to their luck. But this effect can differ from players depending on a lot of things like rebirths or luck potion.
However, Admins can sometimes increase the server luck during an admin abuse.
4. Speed Potion
This effect is similar to Riot Weather, the only difference is the Brainrots don’t spawn in great numbers. You can use this potion if you don’t have the riot.
5. Lucky Potion
Similar to the Server luck, but this weather effect only applies to you and your Garden.
6. Glided Awakening

Now, this is the most frequent Mutation based weather effect in the game. Once active, you get a higher chance to spawn the Gold mutation.
Although, this isn’t the best or rarest mutation in the game, so it actually isn’t worth a lot of investment in.
7. Icy Blizzard

Just like the Gilded Awakening, this weather sometimes triggers on its own. But unlike its counterpart, it doesn’t trigger as frequently.
While this weather effect is active, you have a higher chance of getting the Frozen mutation. Which suits the frosty scenario that comes with it.
Winter is indeed coming.
8. Eruption

As the description goes, volcanic eruption fills both the lane, and your brainrots, giving you a higher chance to spawn Magma mutations.
Now, this is a mutation worth investing heavily whenever the weather effect is up. You only get this during admin events, so make it count.
9. Cosmic Bloom

During this event, cosmic energy floods the filled, which causes the very rare Galactic mutations to spawn. Yet another worthwhile investment.
10. Tung Tung Invasion
This weather effect is so rare, it even rarely occurs during an Admin abuse. It basically spawns the Tung Tung Sahur boss which, when defeated, will give you a great addition to your collection.
11. Prismatic Surge

While this weather effect is up, the brainrots spawned dazzle with the Rainbow Mutation. You can expect this event during an Admin abuse, so stack up on those potions.
12. Underworld Rift

If you are scared of the dark, then the Underworld Mutations that spawns during this weather event is sure to scare you.
13. Reality Flip

Just like the hit tv series Stranger Things, this weather effect flips your brainrots with the UpsideDown Mutation. And the resulting brainrots look cool, weird, and gives a ton of money.
14. Halloween

This is the Admins go to weather during the Halloween season. It is also the perfect time for you to get candy corns for the Spooky event.
The Brainrot mutations that spawn during this event are the Headless, CandyCorn (which transform into candy corn when killed), and Pumpkin Mutations.
Latest Weather Events
These are some of the latest weather events added in November, 2025.
15. Stormy

Stormy is a standard weather event that often triggers frequently in Plants Vs Brainrots. And this cool weather effect brings the storm with it which in turn electrifies your seeds, giving you the chance to grow an Electrified Plant.

16. Merge Madness

This is an Event based weather in the game, and it was introduced along with the Mutation Mania event. We can also consider it a standard weather event since it occurs naturally, but being event based means it might not last long.

Once active, your fuse machine, merge machine and Plant extractor all have 2x speed. This weather isn’t exactly game breaking because it is basically meant to help you speed run the event.

Extras
These aren’t exactly weather events, but they do impact the servers in a similar way.
Weather Forecast

What this event does is it basically gives you a countdown to when the next Guaranteed Stormy weather event is going to happen. So whenever you see this on you screen, better get your umbrellas because it will be raining soon.
Final Thoughts
The weather events are certainly what adds a bit of freshness to the game, especially the Admin weathers. So make sure you set a reminder for every upcoming update if you want to get your hands on these rare mutations.
