With the Northern Expedition update, Fisch introduced a brand new snowy island called Boreal Pines.

While the area looks beautiful, moving around it with normal boots feels extremely slow and frustrating. Snow drastically reduces your movement speed, making exploration and quests unnecessarily painful.

The solution is simple but locked behind a short quest. You need to obtain the Winter Boots, the only item that lets you walk fast in Boreal Pines.

Why You Need Winter Boots in Boreal Pines

Boreal Pines is designed with deep snow terrain. Without Winter Boots:

  • Movement speed is heavily reduced

Equipping Winter Boots completely removes this slowdown and lets you move at normal speed across the snow.

Once you have both materials, return to Marvin at Boreal Pines.

  • Select the dialogue option What do you need
