Zookeeper Class Abilities in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Taming Update in 99 Nights in the Forest introduced more than just animals and flutes.

Alongside the ability to tame wild creatures, players can now unlock a brand-new class: the Zookeeper Class.

It’s designed to make the taming process a bit smoother, offering perks that help with flute mechanics and feeding.

Here’s a complete guide on how to get the Zookeeper Class, its abilities, and whether it’s actually worth buying.

How to Get Zookeeper Class in 99 Nights in the Forest

You can unlock the Zookeeper Class by purchasing it from the Daily Class Shop for 70 Diamonds. This is a one-time purchase, and once unlocked, the class is permanently available to you.

  2. Press and hold E to open the Class Shop menu.

  3. Scroll down until you find the Zookeeper Class.

  4. Click on the blue purchase button to unlock it, provided you have 70 Diamonds.

If you don’t have enough Diamonds, there are several ways to earn them without spending Robux:

  • Use active 99 Nights in the Forest codes to get free Diamonds.

  • Open chests and collect badges during runs.

  • Survive past Day 50 or Day 99 for milestone rewards.

  • Participate in Admin Abuse events, where admins often drop Diamonds.

When you select the Zookeeper class, you’ll start every run with an Old Taming Flute, saving you the time of fetching one from the Domestication Cabin.

The class has three main perks, which unlock as you level it up. You can also unlock them faster with Robux if you prefer.

Level Perk Description
1 Taming whistle levels up faster, letting you upgrade your flute more efficiently.
2 Feeding tamed animals restores more of their health.
3 You can tame animals faster using the flute.

After unlocking all three perks, you’ll be able to roll for one bonus perk from the pool of other classes, which can give some surprising utility if you’re lucky.

Is Zookeeper Class Worth Getting?

In short, not really. While it provides some quality-of-life perks for taming, it doesn’t offer any major gameplay advantages.

  • The starter flute is nice but not essential since the Old Taming Flute is easy to find.

  • The perks are underwhelming compared to other classes that focus on combat, survival, or utility.

  • The pet limit remains the same as other classes, so you don’t get any special companion boosts.

If you’re focused on taming animals and want a small edge, it’s a decent pickup. But for most players, your 70 Diamonds are better spent on a stronger class that helps you survive longer runs or improve damage output.
