How to Get Shard of Time in Fisch

Fisch has always been one of Roblox’s exciting games because of the atmosphere around it. And thanks to this new update, it seems to only get better.

I say that because, besides the many other features added into the game, we also got an update to Merlin’s Quest.

From the last update, we had what seemed to be a side quest from Merlin. But now, we know that side quest was just a precursor for the main dish served in this update.

We got two new locations, the Chasm and Mineshaft, and we also got an update on Merlin himself. And one of said updates was the ability to craft Merlin’s Staff.

But of course to craft this rod, we do need some very specific materials, but the most important is the Shard of Time. And in order to get it, you do need to meet certain requirements.

So in this article, I will be giving you a detailed breakdown on the Shard of time, and how you can get it. But first, let’s take a look at what it even is.

What is Shard of Time in Fisch

Basically, the Shard of time is the main item used to craft Merlin’s Staff (One of the latest rods in Fisch). This item can only be retrieved after completing Merlin’s Quest, and locating the Chasm.

The Shard of Time is a combination of 3 materials, Radiant Crystal, Rough Geode, and Cut Gem, all of which can be found in the Mineshaft.

Where to get the Shard of Time in Fisch

After completing Merlin’s Quest, you can gain access to the Chasm by talking to Merlin. Once you have Merlin’s Veil make your way swiftly to the Chasm.

From the Chasm, you can enter the Mineshaft and begin your quest for the Shard of Time. Immediately, you should notice 3 Pedestals which require the 3 materials we mentioned earlier.

Two of these materials (The Rough Geode and Cut Gem), are very easy to get, while the third item (Radiant Crystal) might take a while.

Now to get the Cut Gem:

• You first need to check out your surrounding, you should see a Mine track (Rails)

• On this track, a Minecart travels around it over time
• Now you need to find the Lever that controls the track (it is very close to the pedestals)
• Once you have found the lever, you have to wait near it until the Minecart comes around
• After a while, the Minecart would reach that area, so wait till it gets close you before pulling the lever
• If done at the right time, the cart will change direction and come to a stop

You can now retrieve the Cut Gem from the Minecart and put it on the pedestal.

After collecting the Cut Gem, the next you should look for is the Rough Geode. And to find this item:

• The first thing you’ll need is a spear
• Now to get a spear, make your way to the main town in Lost Jungle (Behind Sunstone)

• Then you should see a hut that says spear crafting
• Make your way into the hut, and buy whichever spear you want (It doesn’t really matter)

• Next make your way back into the Mineshaft
• Once in the Mineshaft, you need to look for a bunch of rubble made up of wood and stone
• You’ll then equip your spear to destroy those rubble
• Eventually after destroying a bunch, you will get the Rough Geode

Finally, for the last piece, the Radiant Crystal, you can only get this by fishing for it in the pool of water inside the Mineshaft. And being a mythical tier item, it won’t be easy to get.

But you can try using Rod of the Forgotten Fang (or Nate’s Blade if you are Gigachad) with the Aurora Totem. You should get it pretty easily with either suggestion.

You can still fish for it with whatever rod you have, it’s just gonna take a while if you aren’t lucky.

Once you have placed all 3 items on their various pedestals, you’ll get an animation. After a while, the wall behind the pedestals crack open revealing the Shard of Time.
