How to Get Weather Traits
Keep the pets you want affected in your ranch during the matching weather. Inventory pets are not eligible. Eggs waiting in the pen can also receive weather effects, and a pet being ridden can be affected.
There is no verified percentage for a ranch pet to receive a weather trait in the references reviewed. A weather event therefore gives you an opportunity, not a promise that every pet will change.
How to Try for Magma
Take an egg to the volcano and dip it into lava. Each egg gets one attempt. A success adds eight seconds to its duration; a failure returns it to your hand and removes five seconds.
Our advice is to plan the return route before trying this on a valuable egg. If your normal delivery is already close to the deadline, consider whether the chance of a bonus is worth making that journey tighter.
Can Mutations Stack?
A pet can hold one hatch mutation and one weather trait. Two weather traits do not combine; a stronger one replaces a weaker one. This means collecting several different weather names on the same pet is not a route to unlimited bonuses.
Do not multiply the table values together and treat the result as a tested final stat. Other pet bonuses and disputed values make the pet’s actual displayed earnings the better comparison.
