Grow a Garden: Trading & Cooking Event Update (August 2025)

Roblox’s popular farming simulator game – Grow a Garden has launched a brand-new Trading and Cooking Event, bringing exciting new features for its 3 million+ players.

Grow a Garden: Trading Event Update

//Update : August 2, 2025, TRADING & COOKING UPDATE OUT NOW!

Players can now trade fruits, pets, and sheckles using Trading Tickets. It’s a safe system that lets you exchange items with others directly in-game.

Cooking Event
Chris P. the pig is hungry! Cook meals using plants to satisfy his cravings and unlock rewards, seeds, gear, and pets. The rarer the recipe, the better the rewards.

New Seeds & Plants:

  • Grand Tomato, Tall Asparagus, Tacofern
  • Sugarglaze, Veinpetal, Twisted Tangle
  • Crown Melon, Jalapeno, Artichoke, Onion

New Pet: French Fry Ferret and more

New Items:

  • Grandfather Sprinkler, Mutation Sprays
  • Gourmet Seed Pack, Food Crate, Pancake Stack
  • Fried Pet Mutation Shard & more

New Weather & Events:

  • Acid Rain, admin-triggered weathers, new mutations

Cosmetics:

  • 8+ new decorations and garden items

Fixes & Improvements:

  • UI updates, bug fixes, crafting changes

This update is one of the biggest content drops for Grow a Garden yet — blending trading, cooking, collectibles, and customization!

For the first time ever, Grow a Garden players can now trade with one another, safely and easily.

Whether it’s fruits, pets, or resources, this new system opens up a whole new world of collaboration and collection within the community.

The Cooking Event Begins

Alongside trading, the update also kicks off the long-awaited Cooking Event.

Players can now prepare meals for the Pig NPC to earn exclusive rewards. By participating, you’ll unlock:

  • New seeds to expand your garden
  • Cooking-themed pets with unique designs
  • Special weather effects like seasonal ambiance
  • And even limited-time features and collectibles

This dual-feature update is the biggest content drop since the game launched, signaling a major evolution for Grow a Garden as a social sandbox.

  • Start: Saturday, August 2 at 7:30 PM
  • End: Saturday, August 9 at 3:30 PM

Grow a Garden is being loved by millions of players around the globe. And the new trading update ensure more player interaction and drive new gameplay loops from farming and crafting to bartering and cooking.
