Dudes and Dudirls! It’s official. The long-awaited trading feature is finally live in Grow a Garden!
I personally believe this feature is going to change Grow a Garden forever promoting more strategic gameplay and interaction amongst the players.
And if you are new to the trading, fret not. We are here to help! This post talks about almost everything you need to know about trading in Grow a Garden.
So, let’s dive right into the details.
How to Trade in Grow a Garden : Pets & Fruits
To start trading, you would first need a trading ticket. And you will have to procure it in exchange of Sheckles or Robux. In next part, you will learn how to get the ticket.
How to Get a Trading Ticket?
As mentioned before, you will need a Trading Ticket to start a trade. Follow the steps to get a trading ticket –
- Step 1: Go to the Gear Shop in-game.
- Step 2: Find the item named Trading Ticket.
- Step 3: Buy it for 100,000 Sheckles or 19 Robux.
And that’s it. The ticket will appear in your inventory.
Remember, One ticket = One trade.
If your trade request is accepted, the ticket is consumed. If it’s declined, you can still reuse it.
How to Start a Trade?
After buying the trading ticket, you just need to initiate the trade. Follow the steps below –
- Step 1: Equip the ticket from your inventory.
- Step 2: Walk near another player.
- Step 3: Hold the E key to send a trade request.
- Step 4: If they accept, the Trading Hub window will open.
Inside the hub, you’ll see options to:
- Add pets or fruits to the trade.
- Add Sheckles using the cash box.
- Click Accept, then Confirm to complete the deal.
A 5-second cooldown is applied after each action to prevent item theft or scams.
What items can you Trade?
The trading feature is surely great, but you cannot trade everything available in the game. Below, you can check all the items that are tradable –
✅ Tradeable | ❌ Not Tradeable |
---|---|
Fruits | Seeds |
Pets | Sprinklers |
Sheckles (currency) | Cosmetics & Decorations |
Mutation Fruits | Gear/Tools |
So, if you’re hoarding extra pets or fruits, now’s the time to convert them into something useful!

Why are Tickets Required?
The answer is quite easy. Trading with only tickets will make sure that only serious players are involved in trading.
And yes, it helps the developer make more money, but how buying the ticket maintains the game balance and add value to the trades make much more sense to me.
Tips Before Trading
Here are a few tips to help you trade smarter without getting tricked! Check the step –
- Always check values shown at the top of the trade window.
- Watch the timers – there’s a timer for accepting trades and cooldowns between each action.
- Trade with trusted players only to avoid scams.
- Don’t expect to trade seeds or cosmetics – they’re currently locked from trading.
Trading is still a brand-new feature in Grow a Garden, so more updates and improvements are likely coming soon. In the future, we might see more items added to the list of tradeable gear, pets, or fruits.
The developers could also introduce a trade history or player rating system to help users keep track of deals and avoid scammers.
There’s also a chance of special trading events or seasonal features that bring limited-time items into circulation.
