Ever since Plants vs Brainrots was introduced to Roblox, we all had the drive in us to have both the best plants and Brainrots. And for a while, hardcore players did achieve that.
But let’s be real with ourselves, after reaching said achievements, the game felt stale. Once again, it was up to the devs to give us a fresh challenge, and so the Cards system was born.
If you are new to the game, you probably don’t even know what the cards are or what they do. You also don’t even know if you have the right combination or even the best cards.
In this article, I will be giving you both the best and worst cards in Plants vs Brainrots. But first, let’s answer the main question.
What are Cards in Plants vs Brainrots?
The Cards system is one of the latest and probably the most influential additions in plants vs brainrots. And that is because it changes how you approach the game.
Just to be clear, before the cards were introduced, most special abilities and potions were locked behind paywalls, and events (which can be tedious to complete).
But thanks to these cards, we can have these effects by simply completing daily tasks (for cards) which take about 30 mins at most.
Currently, there are 36 cards in the game, and their rarities range from common to Limited. We also have special Shiny cards for each rarity, and these incredibly rare cards are a huge step up from their regular variants.
You should also know that several cards on this list have great combo potential, if you know how to sync them well. So even a common card can outshine a legendary card if it combos better with another card.
Now that we understand the idea behind these cards, let us take a look at where these cards belong in our tier list.
Cards Tier List
First of all, this tier list was created based on community ratings, and also based on personal gameplay experience. And after hours of careful gameplay, its safe to say you’ll find this tier list very interesting.
Why you may ask? Well that is because unlike most players, I rated my tier list based on Overall usability (early to later on), synergy, and stats.
What I am saying in essence is, I don’t rate these cards based solely on their rarities. So don’t be surprised if your favourite Legendary card isn’t S+ tier.
But then again, this list is open to interpretation, so feel free to go with whatever deck works for you. With that said (in no particular order per list),let’s take a look at the tier list starting with the S+ tier.
S+ Tier

Every card in this list is by far the best and most effective cards in the game. Their abilities are simply indispensable, and they synergies well with any deck combination you have.
| Card Name | Rarity | Reasons/Synergy Potential |
| Meteor Strike | Epic | This card has it all, from crowd control to damage, the numbers don’t lie. And combining it with a riot potion/freezing deck means your plants mostly won’t even have to do much |
| Secret Collection | Legendary | Lets be real, a 25% higher chance to get a secret brainrot is always welcome in any deck |
| Rizzrot Manifestation | Epic | The game relies heavily on luck if you want to get high tier brainrots, and this increases your luck by 50%, do I need to say more? |
| Doom Bloom | Legendary | If your strategy is based solely on your plants then this card is a no-brainer, 35% more damage just implies nothing is getting through |
| Bloom Bank | Epic | Now this is the first card in S+ tier that I would say relies on another card to be effective. While it does depend on fast clearing and even a riot potion to be as effective, the pay off is certainly worth it. |
| Limited Collection | Legendary | Well a 25% higher chance to spawn the best Brainrots in the game is certainly welcome in any deck |
A Tier

These aren’t the best cards in the game, but it’s safe to call them a close second. And that is because, they either don’t synergies with just any deck combination, or they require you to intervene to be effective.
| Card Name | Rarity | Reasons/Synergy Potential |
| Frozen Frenzy | Rare | Having your plants deal 35% more damage to frozen enemies is good, but only if you use a frozen deck, or want to manually do the freezing yourself |
| Frozen Blast | Legendary | When paired with a frozen deck like Freezing Fields, you will certainly see the true impact of this card, because at tier 1, that is 5000 damage for every frozen brainrot. |
| Secret Slayer | Uncommon | Decent but mainly when paired with the Secret Collection card. |
| Toxic Cloud | Legendary | Great for crowd control, but you might have to kill a lot of brainrots for it to proc |
| Freezing Fields | Epic | This card freezes every brainrot for 5 seconds after killing 50 Brainrots.
So pairing this card with Frozen blast can definitely one short majority of the brainrots in this game |
| Godly Collection | Legendary | 25% chance to spawn these high tier brainrots is always welcome, but only if you don’t have the higher collections |
| Bloom Ascendant | Epic | Despite the fact that you have to kill a lot of brainrots to get it, 100% stats increase to your plants for 5 mins is definitely worth it. But still, 1000 brainrots is a lot for 5 mins of boost. |
| Petal Storm | Epic | There is the tendency to continuously proc this effect, so it is actually a good addition. |
B Tier

These cards are mid at best, they don’t necessarily have bad stats or synergy, they just require a lot of upgrades (Merging) to be decent or rare occurrences.
| Card Name | Rarity | Reasons/Synergy Potential |
| Inferno Petal | Epic | Considering Magma brainrots are very rare, it’s hard to see much potential here |
| Mono-crop Mindset | Epic | This card depends on your garden arrangement, and it forces you to place your plants in a certain way. So honestly very situational |
| Mythic Collection | Epic | 25% chance to spawn a decent tier brainrots is also a welcome addition |
| Tile Trio | Rare | Requires a specific plant arrangement, but it is definitely worth it especially when paired with other plant buffs. |
| Whirlwind | Sending all brainrots to the startpoint feels like a total waste of time, except against really tough brainrots | |
| Spirit Bloom | Rare | Considering the buff to your plant is random, there is a probability a less used plants gets buff, so it is technically a risky card |
| Chain Lightning | Uncommon | Lets just call this the lesser form of meteor strike. But it does have decent damage. |
| Solar Burst | Uncommon | The money you earn is good, but not great compared to other cards with similar effects |
| Brainrot Blessing | Common | A common card with massive potential. Having a 10% increase to Brainrot income is huge especially after a few upgrades |
| Monetary Masterpiece | Limited | This is the only card which you can pair with another card of the same stats and effects (Brainrot Blessing). They both have the same passive and stats, but you can use them together, which gives 20% income increase at tier 1. |
| Plant Frenzy | Rare | Decent damage but practically more than half your plants wont constantly get this buff. |
C Tier

Every card in this tier is a good enough start for beginners especially. But in the actual sense, they don’t really offer much to you at a certain point in the game.
So basically, they synergies well at one point, but when opportunity arises, you should change them.
| Card Name | Rarity | Reasons/Synergy Potential |
| Sunflower Flurry | Common | While not the weakest plant, it still isn’t the best buff either. |
| Aura | Epic | Boss fights aren’t common, and until there is a boss, this card has no use in your deck |
| Overgrowth | Epic | Technically the root is only good if there are strong brainrots already in your garden, otherwise it just feels like an unnecessary delay. |
| Legendary Collection | Uncommon | 25% chance to spawn the 3rd tier brainrots isn’t bad, but not good either. |
| Home Run | Uncommon | Now this card does synergies well with batter Up because the more brainrots you bat down, the more damage you spread to others. But honestly it’s a ton of work. |
| Time Blossom | Uncommon | Decent especially against a riot attack by strong brainrots, but honestly another unnecessary delay |
| Batter Up | Common | Increases the damage output of your bat. |
D Tier

Naturally, I can’t say these cards are useless (even though they are on paper), and that is because even the worst can serve a purpose when the need arises.
These cards are the lowest because of their limited use potential, lack of synergy and terrible stats.
| Card Name | Rarity | Reasons/Synergy Potential |
| Cactus Flurry | Common | Lets be real, this card is beginner level at best, it buffs the worst plant in the game, and the buff isn’t even that good. |
| Pumpkin Flurry | Common | Yet another weak buff for a weak plant, though not the weakest plant, it still isn’t a good card |
| Rare Collection | Common | 25% chance to spawn the lowest brainrots in the game, unless you specifically need brainrots in this tier for events I simply don’t see the value of this card |
| Epic Collection | Common | 25% chance to spawn the second lowest brainrots in the game, and just like its counterpart, you either use it as a beginner or to spawn brainrots for event requirements |
Final Thoughts
In the end, the best cards can be whatever you want especially if you already have a working synergy. So take your time, crunch the numbers, and use this list as a guide to build a deck that suits your playstyle.
