Roblox may have just started teasing its next big Halloween event, and players already think The Haunt is coming back.
On October 8, the official Roblox account on X posted a short and creepy message: “did anyone else hear that?” The post quickly crossed millions of views, and Roblox later replied to itself with “knocks: sounds hollow”. After that, Roblox added another suspicious line: “we looked into it. it’s probably nothing.”
For a normal post, that might not mean much. But this is Roblox, it is October, and the wording sounds too much like the beginning of a Halloween teaser to ignore.

Roblox’s Creepy “Did Anyone Else Hear That?” Post
The latest clue started when Roblox posted the simple message “did anyone else hear that?” from its official account.
At first, it looked like a random creepy post. However, things became more interesting when Roblox replied with “knocks: sounds hollow”. A few hours later, the account followed up with “we looked into it. it’s probably nothing.”
did anyone else hear that?
— Roblox (@Roblox) October 8, 2026
That final line is what made the whole thing feel like a proper Halloween teaser. When a brand account says something is “probably nothing” in October, it usually means it is definitely something.
Is The Haunt Coming Back?
Roblox has not officially confirmed that The Haunt is returning yet. However, the clues strongly point toward a Halloween event.
The wording, timing, and spooky tone all match the kind of buildup Roblox would use for a seasonal event. Since The Haunt is already connected with Roblox Halloween content, many players believe this teaser is hinting at its comeback.
Why Players Think This Is About The Haunt
The strongest reason players think this is about The Haunt is that Roblox is using horror-style language right before Halloween. The post reads like the opening scene of a scary movie, and the “knocking” clue makes it feel like something is trying to get in.
There are also earlier clues. After The Hunt: Roblox 2026 wrapped on September 28, players reportedly noticed a mysterious skull symbol in the final area. Roblox also shared a teaser video showing the same skull, and a placeholder game named “Orange” appeared under the Roblox Presents group.
When you connect all of this together, it looks like Roblox is building toward a platform-wide Halloween event.
All Clues Pointing to a Roblox Halloween Event
Here are the main clues that suggest something spooky is coming to Roblox:
- The official Roblox account posted “did anyone else hear that?”
- Roblox replied with “knocks: sounds hollow”
- The account later said “we looked into it. it’s probably nothing.”
- The post arrived in October, close to Halloween season.
- A mysterious skull symbol was reportedly spotted after The Hunt: Roblox 2026 ended.
- Roblox shared a teaser video featuring the same skull symbol.
- A placeholder game called Orange appeared under the Roblox Presents group.
What Was The Haunt?
The Haunt was Roblox’s Halloween-themed event that leaned into spooky visuals, mystery, and seasonal content. If it returns, players may get another Halloween experience with themed rewards, challenges, avatar items, and participating Roblox games.
Roblox has not revealed the 2026 version yet, so it is unclear whether the event will follow the same format or introduce something new.
What Could The Haunt 2026 Include?
If The Haunt returns in 2026, Roblox could bring back a platform-wide Halloween event with new quests, themed games, avatar rewards, and spooky event areas.
Based on the clues so far, these are the most likely possibilities:
- A new Halloween event hub
- Spooky quests or challenges
- Limited-time avatar rewards
- Participating Roblox games
- A skull-themed mystery or storyline
- New badges or event items
- A countdown or reveal tied to the “knocking” teaser
What Is the “Orange” Roblox Game?
One of the more interesting clues is the reported placeholder game called Orange under the Roblox Presents group.
The name could be connected to Halloween because orange is one of the main colors of the season. It could also be a temporary codename before Roblox reveals the actual event title.
For now, Roblox has not officially explained what Orange is, so players should treat it as a teaser clue rather than confirmed event information.
Could This Be a New Event Instead?
Yes, it is possible that Roblox is teasing a brand-new Halloween event instead of The Haunt returning. The clues only confirm that Roblox is building mystery around something spooky.
However, because the skull clue and Halloween timing line up with previous event-style reveals, The Haunt comeback is currently the strongest theory among players.
When Could Roblox Reveal the Event?
Roblox has not shared an official reveal date yet. Since the teaser appeared in early October and Halloween is approaching, more details could arrive soon.
If this is a full platform-wide event, Roblox may reveal the event page, participating games, rewards, or a launch date in the coming days.
What Players Should Watch For Next
If Roblox continues the teaser campaign, players should watch for more posts from the official Roblox account, updates from the Roblox Presents group, and any new event pages appearing on the platform.
- More creepy posts from Roblox on X
- New replies connected to knocking, doors, sounds, or skulls
- Changes to the Roblox Presents group
- A public event hub appearing on Roblox
- Official confirmation of The Haunt or a new Halloween event
- New avatar rewards or badges appearing before launch
Final Thoughts
Roblox has not officially said that The Haunt is coming back, but the signs are hard to ignore. The “did anyone else hear that?” post, the hollow knocking reply, the “probably nothing” follow-up, the skull symbol, and the Orange placeholder all make this feel like a Halloween event teaser.
Whether it is The Haunt 2026 or a new spooky event, Roblox is clearly building toward something. Players should keep an eye on the official Roblox account and Roblox Presents for the next clue.
