Just like in the One Piece anime, fruits are the real deal in Blox Fruits, giving players powerful boosts and unique abilities.
You can use Devil Fruits to grind in PvE mode or jump into intense duels in PvP mode.
But the big question is, which fruit should you choose?
It’s always been a tricky decision because of the many variables in the game. On top of that, there are plenty of fruits divided into five different rarities.
That’s where we step in, this tier list will help you make the right choice for both PvP and PvE.

How Blox Fruits Tier List is created
Before we dive deeper into the tier list, we will first let you know how exactly we created this tier list. What was the criteria and what exactly considered while putting a devil fruit in a tier.
The tier list has a letter grade (S, A, B, C or D) where S‑tier fruits define the meta; A‑tier fruits are strong but not game‑breaking; B‑tier fruits are situational or require more skill; C‑ and D‑tier fruits have niche uses or are largely out‑classed.
Let’s talk about the criteria now.
In my opinion, the criteria that matters the most is – Ease of Use, Ease of Access, Versatility in PvP + PvE modes, Damage Points, Total power and Upgrade Capabilities – Awakened abilities.
We have also considered the latest changes brought by Update 27. And we keep updating this post based on the latest tiny changes. So, you can be very sure when you are looking at the best Tier List available on the internet.
Blox Fruits Tier List for PvE (Grinding & Raids)
Let’s talk about the tier list for PvE mode first. So, what could be the best fruit for faming mobs or melt enemies in Raids? Well, the best fruit should offer good AoE damage and mobility while help you heal in time.
We have listed our tier list below. But, you must understand that our opinion and criteria can be different than yours. There is no best fruit, in the end, it all depends how you feel about using a fruit.
But, you can always try the ones in our top tiers.
Tier | Devil Fruit Name |
---|---|
S | Buddha, Lightning, Kitsune, Dough, Dragon (both Variants), Dark, Leopard, T‑Rex, Eagle |
A | Light, Shadow, Spider, Yeti, Gas, Spirit, Control, Venom, Portal |
B | Barrier, Blizzard, Flame, Phoenix, Diamond, Gravity, Ice, Magma, Smoke. |
C | Love, Quake, Rubber, Falcon, Spike, |
D | Rocket, Spin, Spring |
S Tier (Meta) –
S-Tier has the list of fruits that combine high damage with mobility and crowd‑control. Best fruits in the list are Buddha and Lightning (former Rumble). Both fruits have great offering when it comes to the PvE mode.
Buddha’s giant form can tank hits while farming whereas Lightning offers speed and ranged attacks that let players avoid damage. Kitsune is also a great option as it offers versatility – both offensive and defensive utility. You can carry teammates while attacking.
Selection of any of the fruits in the list will be defined by your play style. If Buddha doesn’t suit your game style, you must try a different fruit from the list.
A Tier (Still Good Choices) –
The fruits listed in A Tier are powerful but may require more skill or have situational drawbacks. For instance, Gas fruit can help you deal damage over time, great for farming and raids.
Similarly, Portal can help you teleport and cover distance easily. It’s also a great option to avoid damages and maintain range.
B Tier (Situational) –
The fruits in this list are good but not that great as compared to S‑ and A‑tier options. You can still use these fruits if you can’t find or afford other option from the top tiers.
For instance, Magma is a great option for attacking in PvE but doesn’t offer good mobility, which is also necessary in grinding and raids.
C/D Tier (Niche or Weak) –
If you are serious about playing grinding, the fruits in C and D tier might not be a good option to proceed with.

Blox Fruits Tier List for PvP
Now let’s talk about the PvP tier list. But, how it is different from the ranking for PvE? Well, the answer is simply, AoE (Area of Effect) isn’t priority anymore because you do not have to attack a group. You will be attacking a single enemy at a time.
But, we will need a fruit that has burst damage and combo potential. And along with that, we need a very important feature – Counter ability. Which helps you counter the damage effects by the enemy.
Let’s see the ranking based on these criteria.
Tier | Devil Fruit Name |
---|---|
S | Buddha, Light, Leopard, Dough, Dragon, Kitsune, Phoenix, Ice, Eagle, Ghost, Sound, Venom |
A | Yeti, Gas, T-rex, Spirit, Blizzard, Control, Gravity, Portal |
B | Mammoth, Magma, Smoke, Flame, Rubber, Shadow, Diamond |
C | Barrier, Love, Sand, Blade, Pain, Bomb, Spike, Falcon, Dark, Quake, Spider |
D | Rocket, Spin, Spring |
S Tier (Meta) –
S-Tier has the list of fruits that combine high damage with mobility, combo and counter potential. You might recall that Ice fruit was in Tier B for PvE mode but it shines in PvP mode. But, some fruits like Buddha, Light, and Dragon retain their position in S Tier because of the versatility they offer.
Dragon (both variants) being the Mythical rarity might look unaffordable because of its high pricing but it’s also a good option for PvP.
And if you can’t afford Dragon and don’t want to use Buddha and Light, you can try Dough and Leopard as well. Great option! Dough let’s you use powerful combo while Leopard gives you aggressive speed in mobility and melee attacks.
Rest of fruits like Venom, Eagle, Ghost, Sound, etc., are a great option as they compliment different play style too.
A/B Tier (Good Choices) –
Fruits in A Tier have the potential but they might have more counters and will need more mastery to be considered as ‘Very good’. For instance, Portal is a great fruit if you can use it strategically and combine it with other skills.
Gravity and Venom are great option from Tier A list. You can manipulate opponents’ movement using Gravity, while Venom help you keep distance while dealing damage with the poison.
Similarly, Magma in Tier B is a good option, but only if you can manage the slow mobility.
C/D Tier (Niche or Weak) –
If you are serious about playing PvP, the fruits in C and D tier might not be a good option to proceed with.
Overall Ranking
Well, it is quite hard to give a definite answer when you have such great options for different modes and fighting style. Each fruit has a different offering which can compliment a particular fighting style.
