How to spawn bee in Minecraft

There is no particular answer to how to spawn bees in Minecraft directly. However, players can generate bees indirectly by generating beehives first.

Players could previously go to flowered forests to find bees. However, with the latest patch to Minecraft, some new additions have been made.

Owing to this, players now have the option to spawn their own bees.

How to spawn bees in Minecraft Survival

In the following segment, we will be talking about how you can spawn bee in Minecraft.

With Minecraft version 1.15.2 pre-release 1, players are now able to go out and find bee nests in any biome that has birch trees.

This includes wooded hills, birch forests, tall birch forests, and tall birch hills biomes.

But that is not the only thing that the developers added in this particular patch of Minecraft. Players can now follow the steps mentioned below to spawn their own bees in Minecraft.

  • Step 1: Place down a flower

  • Step 2: Skip a block

The flower has to be within 2 blocks’ distance and on the same y-axis. Meaning there is a flat space of land between the flower and the sapling.

  • Step 3: Place the plants

Place down either an oak or a birch sapling on the ground. Just go ahead and get the thing up.

Once the tree develops, you will find that the tree pops up with a beehive already on it.

  • Step 4: Locate the beehive on the tree

There should be between one and three bees in the hive that spawned along with the tree.

Now, players should note that there is only a 2% chance of a beehive spawning with a tree that you plant.

  • Step 5: Get a lot of saplings

So, our advice to you would be to get a hold of a lot of saplings and try planting as many as you can till you get a beehive with the tree itself.

This is not a direct way of spawning bees. However, since Minecraft tries its level best to keep and make things realistic, conjuring bees out of thin air sounds too good to be true.

So, this is as far as players can go in trying to spawn Bees in Minecraft.

How to spawn beehives in Minecraft

As we have mentioned before, there is no direct way to spawn bees in Minecraft. However, players do have the option of spawning beehives,

Now to know how to spawn beehives in Minecraft, follow the steps that have been mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Get the required saplings

We are going to take some Oak along with some Birch saplings.

  • Step 2: Get the Bonemeal

We’re going to grab a bunch of bone meals. We’re going to see if we can do our best to generate a Bee nest inside of a tree.

Make sure you have some backup bees at your base as your backup population. Now, this is a new thing in Minecraft one point 15.2.

  • Step 3: Make sure you have the latest version

So make sure you’re using the latest version. If you want to try that, it will not happen in earlier versions of one point 15.

So what we need to do is we’ve got loads of bones in here are fantastic.

  • Step 4: Plant the saplings

What we need to do is make sure that we are growing a sapling of either an Oak or a Birch sapling closer to a flower and by close, we mean literally only one block distance between them. It can be right up next to the sapling.

  • Step 5: Get the placement correct

It can be one air block and then a flower between the sapling and the flower. But we don’t believe any further away it is possible.

Basically, the flower has to be within two blocks’ distance and on the same Y axis, meaning there is a flat space piece of land between the flower and the sapling.

The flower has to be right there. The sapling has to be right  Let’s see if we can get this to happen and it’s probably going to take a few attempts
