Back when Genshin Impact was first revealed last year, this sprawling open-world adventure bore some primary resemblance to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Today, over a year on, Genshin Impact still hasn’t shaken those parallels, yet it’s so much more than a free-to-play copy of Nintendo’s finest.
That’s evident from the numbers alone: Genshin Impact is now the “biggest global launch of a Chinese game ever”, and is currently on track to gross more than $100 Million in its first month alone.
Today we have some exciting news to share with you related to yet another achievement of the game.
Ostensibly, Genshin Impact is an open-world adventure game in which you are “the traveler” and after a short battle with some form of an enigmatic deity, you send your opponent’s twin to the world of Teyvat.
You’re very slowly lulled into Teyvat with the cute but ever-so-slightly Grating Paimon, who serves as your Navi-style guide through the world. Soon after you meet Amber, the local city’s archer, and he takes you to Montstadt city, which for the early hours of the game serves as the basis.
The Official YouTube channel of Genshin Impact has surpassed the 1 million milestone mark. You heard that right! This feat just proves how popular the game has become.
Also, to provide Travelers around the world with a more convenient traveling experience, Paimon is pleased to announce that the Forums are now available in multiple languages and that the Battle Chronicle tool is also ready!
Travelers can also pick the language they want to know more and you can also review your stats for travel using the Combat Chronicle App. You will now be able to find out more about the recent events in Teyvat.
Now, since celebrations were in order, Paimon decided to do so via a special prize draw event.

Event Rewards
Primo gems ×50, to be awarded at random to 1,000 lucky participants.
If the number of event participants reaches 100K, a total of 10K lucky winners will be drawn.
If the number of event participants reaches 200K, then a total of 20K lucky winners will be drawn.
And so on for every additional 100K participants.
