Every Battle Royale game involves knocking enemies down and killing them. It also involves us getting knocked down from time to time too. When knocked down by an enemy, in most battle Royale games players will have to depend on their teammates to come and revive them.

Apex Legends Mobile has quite a variety of shields in its arsenal. From common rarity to legendary rarity, these shields have different purposes and offer different levels of protection from enemies.
One of these shields is the Knockdown shield. It comes into play when your character has been knocked down. Now just like other items, shields also are of different rarities.
With the lowest being the White shield. In Apex Legends Mobile, the shields can be upgraded from one rarity to another by inflicting damage to opponents. If you have the white shield, you can upgrade it to the blue shield by inflicting 150 damage, you can further upgrade the blue shield to the purple shield by inflicting 250 damage, so on and so forth.
However, there is one particularly unique shield which is the Golden Shield which we will be discussing today. The Gold shield has abilities that make it much different from the others. When you get knocked down and you have the Gold shield equipped, it allows your character to self-revive.
You no longer have to rely on your teammates to come and revive you mid-game. This shield can be obtained from the loot boxes (Cylindrical White-Red boxes) which you can find scattered all across the map once you land.
Now you have an idea of how the different shields work, be sure to equip your characters with appropriate shields if you wish to emerge victoriously.
