COD Mobile: Full Reload Animation Increases Reload Time?

Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 12 has truly engaged the fans. Players from all over the world are grinding harder than ever to unlock the truckload of prizes and unlockable material that Season 12 Going Dark has to bring to the table.

Season 12’s Battle Pass is apparently a champion among other Battle Passes the game has ever observed. It is fair to say that the benchmark set by the update to COD Mobile’s Season 11 Anniversary was sufficiently out filled by Season 12.

Also, from the time that the Gunsmith feature was released and new weapons were introduced each season, the players always felt that it was difficult and repeated to select 5 of their best attachments, to improve their #1-gun show. This is where our group of researchers comes in.

We have been actively researching on creating ‘purpose-oriented’ Gunsmith loadouts for a weapon. Earlier in this series, we have mentioned the loadouts like “No Recoil’ KN-44, ‘Fast ADS’ DR-H, ‘Fast ADS’ HG-40, and a lot more. Make sure to check all loadouts here

Activision had earlier teased us with a trailer of the upcoming reload animations for different weapons in Season 13. In the new reload animation, you can see bit by bit how the weapon is reloaded, and there are various animations for each firearm. So, it seems like Call of Duty Season 13 has already made its way to be more exciting and realistic than before.

Today we will address a very important question that has been creating some ripples in the COD Mobile universe. Ever since we got to know and see the reload animations.

Players have been really skeptical of the animations increasing the reload time. While some of them are saying it increases it, others haven’t been able to notice any difference. So, today we will be clarifying that.

So, our team has carefully gone through the teaser a number of times after having watched the trailer by slowing it down by quite a number of frames and we have finally come up with some answers.

In some of the weapons, it is almost impossible to make out whether both the gun with the reload animation and the one without the animation get reloaded and are ready to fire at the same time or not.

However, for most of the weapons, the all-new reload animations seem to increase the reload time of the weapon. We believe that this slight increase in the reload time by the reload animations is aimed to encourage players to use the “Sleight of hand” perk more.

Because of the increased reload times in the weapons, the weapons actually get nerfed by a little and we hope to see the sleight of hand perk as one of the go-to perks in most weapon loadouts.

The new Reload Animations which are set to be released in Season 13 sure seem like a rollercoaster with their own set of ups and downs. We cannot be more excited to see those animations in action.
